The bus was very comfortable, we were lucky to have front row seats. Our trip was over night scheduled from 11pm - 5:20am The bus did arrive 15 min late and the traffic in Lima in the early morning is horrendous. We had allowed 3 hours from bus terminal arrival at Plaza del Norte to the flight departure time. The bus also arrived there 30 min late. Other bus terminal trips to the airport might take longer. We had about an hour to spare, be conservative with your timing.

We were denied boarding after having a dinner with wine because we were apparently “over the limit” for alcohol consumption. This is totally ridiculous as it was just two of us that had a quiet dinner and we were very calm and non-confrontational. There was no need to deny us to board the bus. As a result, we had to spend the entire next morning cancelling and re-book our accommodations and activities for the rest of the week.

Pünktlich, bequem und gut kommuniziert. Nur der Bahnhof in Cusco liegt anscheinend sehr ungünstig. Ich musste über 40 Minuten auf einen uber warten, weil mehrere Fahrer abgelehnt haben.

Bus is nice but does not include any of the amenities (ie snacks). Importantly, we paid extra to be able to sleep on the overnight bus but were seated right below the monitor which beeped continuously for several hours (as the driver was speeding). We did not sleep and it was uncomfortable as a passenger knowing the speed limit was not being followed.
