The bus driver was very pleasant, respectful, and helpful with our luggage. She was a very professional driver. She did forget her scanner when she checked our ticket and only visually checked we were on the right bus. Also, we had to wait in the parking lot for the bus. It was raining very hard so we had to go to another location (Murphy’s Gasoline Station) for shelter to wait for the bus to arrive. Otherwise the trip was very nice and comfortable.

My bus was scheduled to arrive to Katy, TX to leave to Austin, TX on 3/26/26 at 5:25 pm and depart the stop at 5:30 pm. However, due to heavy traffic in Houston, the arrival time was pushed back to 5:45 pm and the departure time was pushed back to 5:50 pm. I got to my stop at 5:45 pm (the bus’s arrival time, 5 minutes before departure), but when I got there, the bus was leaving the stop at 5:45 pm instead of 5:50 pm. I drove behind the bus and honked many times, but the driver never stopped. The bus should have waited right until 5:50 pm to depart, but it left five minutes early at the supposed arrival time and I missed my bus. This was absolutely not fair because I had a big event the next morning in Austin and I had to drive there at night, making this a really big inconvenience for me. After I missed the bus, I called the help number and the lady was super rude to me, saying that I should’ve been there 15-20 minutes before the arrival time at the original time of 5:25 pm, suggesting that I should’ve been there between 5:05 pm and 5:10 pm, even though I was notified that the bus’s arrival time would be later than the scheduled 5:25 pm. She refused to help me anymore and didn’t even offer a voucher or credit of sorts. All she said was that it was my fault that I missed the bus, even though the bus left earlier than the new time it said on my ticket (5:50 pm). This makes me question what the point of having specific arrival/departure times is when clearly the drivers don’t follow these times and rules. This was a really horrible experience for me and I will not recommend RedCoach to anyone looking to travel through bus.
